Whilst we have been busy sprucing up the rooms ready for guests we have been working on our "In-house Menu" ...this week testing out a couple of our potential vegetarian/vegan options. Mushroom Wellington and Karen's own creation "Layer Cake" layers of butternut squash, roasted red onion, waxy potatoes, kale, spinach topped with our own home grown micro leaves beautifully seasoned and held together with comte, mozzarella and a shaving of parmiginia served with a silky smooth tomato bisque...test eater (carnivore) scoffed it in seconds!!!
